Description:
Lehener Stadion was home to Austrian football (soccer) team 'SV Austria Salzburg' between 1971 and 2002. The stadium was deemed too small for the club who moved out, The last game at the ground was on 4 December 2002 against SK Sturm Graz before about 6,000 spectators. The stadium has since been demolished and there are plans to build a library and a block of flats on the grounds of the old stadium.
