Kyocera Arena is a 25,400 capacity stadium in Curitiba, Brazil. It was built in 1997 and is the home stadium of Atlético Paranaense.
KYOCERA ARENA (Arena da Baixada)
Kyocera Arena is Brazilian’s most modern football stadium. The stadium was projected according to the most modern building and architectural conceptions in order to be a multi-event facility. The project contemplates non football areas such as a business centre and a teleport (last generation equipment that enables broadcasting data and live footage via satellite). The Stadium has also conference and exhibition facilities that can easily achieve real time interactivity with anywhere in the world trough the use of the teleport.
The stadium is an all seater facility providing excellent view and comfortable places to all fans. The supporters have at their disposal a large food court, four shops (including the official Club Shop) and a parking lot with a capacity for 500 vehicles. In order to contemplate the business to business fan, the Stadium has 76 corporate boxes, each with a capacity of 9 up to 22 seats as well as private washrooms.
The stadium’s security and surveillance mechanisms, is a state of art system that integrates a CCTV technology with 63 cameras, all of them monitoring every strategic area of the stadium.
