Description:
Ascot is one of the oldest racecoourses in the world, dating back to 1711 when Queen Anne staged a race there. The stadium is known for the Royal Ascot which is held once a year. The stadium is currently undergoing a £335m reconstruction to be completed for the Royal Ascot in 2006.
