Description:
Molineux is home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, the stadium was built in 1889. The record attendance was 61,305 during the 5th Round of the F.A. Cup in 1939 on Feburary 11th. In the early 1990's, the entire pitch was moved sideways by about 20 yards to allow for redevelopment of the stadium. Plans to increase the capacity of the stadium to 43,000 by adding an additional tier to two of the stands, seem to have been shelved. Molineux
