The King Fahd International Stadium, is located a few kilometres north east from the capital city of Riyadh, in central Saudi Arabia.Riyadh is situated in an oasis 395 kilometres inland from the Persian Gulf.The stadium, one of the largest, and is regarded as one of the most beautiful, sports stadia in the world.The stadium covers an area of 500,000 square metres, and has the capacity for 67,000 people.The stadium is built in the shape ofa giant bowl and provides all spectators an unimpeded view.There are eight ramped public entrances which lead to a concourse that circles the whole of the stadium.The concourse allows spectators to get to there seats in the lower tier or the gallery.
